​Subject selection process

The subject selection form must be completed as the formal process for subject selection. Being placed into a subject is dependent upon class size and available resources.

In Years 10, 11 and 12 there are various additional learning opportunities that involved enrolling in programs offered off-site of the main school campus. These opportunities include:

  • Nationally recognized certificates offered by various registered training organisations including TAFE
  • Education Queensland and Industry Partnership (EQIP) Gladstone programs on site of big industry
  • Starting university e.g. Central Queensland University, Griffith University or University of Queensland.

Selecting subjects online

Students already enrolled make their subject selections on-line via the students' One School page. Students will be advised when the subject selection pages are open. Tannum Sands SHS has a number of options for students to study off-site in various learning programs

New students will be provided with a subject selection form on enrolment.
